Senator Jesse Helms died on Independence day this year. I was lucky enough to meet him when I was working the drive thru at Wachovia. He drove through there frequently and one day I got brave enough to ask for his autograph. This is what he sent back to me. I am glad I held on to it this long (it was probably in 2000 he gave me this). Pretty cool!
