Thanksgiving::Emma::BDNT

Thanksgiving 2010 was great. While we are normally rushing from one house to another, this year we spent it relaxing at one house and not having to worry about going someplace else :) We went to Tim's parent's house. It was such a relaxing day. We had great food, good outside time and some fun Wii playing. It was so nice. Hard to believe this is our last Thanksgiving as a family of three and next year there will be a 6 month old in the mix. So fun!

Here are a few pics of Emma I snapped before we left for lunch...I just love this kid! and her smile...and her joy....she's amazing :)

And a quick update on BDNT...we had our appt. with the specialist and it went great. Basically, since the levels of the antibodies are too low to even titer (give a number to, i.e. 1:1, 1:2, 1:4, 1:8...and so on...they start to intervene around 1:32....maybe 1:16) we are just going to monitor with monthly blood level checks--and if the levels ever start to go up then we will re-evaluate the situation. They will most likely begin doing growth scans of the baby to make sure it does not become anemic. BUT....Praise the Lord that everything is so low now that extra blood draws is all that is required. So......we move on :) On another note--December 13th is the BIG ultrasound...we will find out if Emma will have a baby brother or baby sister. I am 100% decided on names (I think Tim is just going with it at this point)...but I will save that for another post.

You must be so relieved! I know you still need to be monitored, but hopefully all is well. December 13th????? OM! That is right around the corner. Can't wait to find out if Emma will have a little brother or sister. Take care!

I love the second picture of Emma! That girl has personality! Where did you get that chair? I need one to paint turquoise.

As for gender...I think you're having a boy. There are a lot of Mamas finding out they are having boys right now. :) Glad things look good with the blood work. I will keep you in my prayers!!
