end Nov/ beginning Dec wrap up...

Has it been a month since I blogged? Do I get any points for having some posts written in my head? Here is my best attempt at a Nov/Dec wrap up...

`Thanksgiving with family {heart}
`Emma's on stage performance for the Thanksgiving Feast at school

`Molly turning 7 months

you see how she is bouncing and rocking...that's all she does...no crawling. I have a feeling that crawling is quickly approaching, though.
`got THIS picture of Molly that I'm in love with
`got THIS picture of Emma that I'm in love with--sort of reminds me of a "senior portrait"...

`Molly has started to eat more solids and is doing great. For a while there, anything I put in her mouth that was pureed was gagged on. She really likes holding her own food and shoving it in her mouth. We are doing a mix of finger foods and purees.
`we went on an awesome play date with some fellow November 2007 friends. Emma had tons of fun playing with the girls and we can't wait to do it again! I think it's pretty fun that our Nov. 2007 babies are all our first kids and that we all three had second girls. That's a lot of girls right there...
`got an awesome deal on a Mountain Hardwear jacket at a thrift shop! I had been needing a winter jacket and got this one for $9.99...score!
`made some great recipes from Pinterest...and have since pinned lots more to make! Cooking is more fun in the winter time.
`I've gotten most of my Christmas shopping done :) Just need to get a few more things!
`got my flu shot
`both girls got colds and gave me a little one--not too bad though
`decorated for Christmas and found myself getting choked up over the fact that I get to hang 4 stockings this year instead of 3...God has been so good to us and delivered another little light to our family when He gave us Molly...
`Molly discovered the joys of sand in her toes
`Molly now says mama and dada...still not really in context though...although sometimes when she is fussing and goes "mama!" between the screams--I swear that's in context!
`got THIS picture of Tim holding Christian (Emma and Molly's cousin), Molly and Emma

`Discovered Molly is very tolerant if I can't get to her right away when she topples over...
`got THIS picture of my girls....
...along with this video

...and I'll leave you with this...the wonder, excitement and joy that Christmas brings to a child is contagious! I can't wait to celebrate Jesus' birthday this year with our family. My prayer is that Emma and Molly will learn to focus more on Jesus and less on Santa...I pray God guides me in teaching them the real reason we celebrate and to who we give all the glory!

I *love* the video of them playing on the bed together. They look like they adore one another. So sweet!!
