hope{full} giveaway

Have you ever sat and had coffee with a good friend, talking for hours and hours?  You know that feeling of happiness and satisfaction?  Your heart is full from the conversation and your tummy is warm from the coffee (or tea)?  This is how I feel about Lisa Leonard.  She is somebody who I have followed for several years when a friend introduced me to her jewelry line.  Lisa makes beautiful, handmade jewelry.  She made me my special "Emma and Molly" necklace that I cherish.  I've never met her in person, but I follow her on Facebook and her blog and feel like I know her in person.  She is loved by many, so down to earth and very talented....and has some adorable little boys to boot!

So it was no surprise I was delighted to see her announce a new jewelry line called hope{full}.  This is from her web site:

"Each piece from our hope{full} collection is fair trade, organic and sustainable, giving work to Ecuadorian women and building families and communities. Necklaces, bracelets and earrings are made from tagua seeds, which are harvested, carved and dyed vibrant, beautiful shades.  We are also offering hand-made scarves that can be worn in your hair, around your waist, around your neck and any other creative way! Additionally, with the sale of each piece from the hope{full} collection, Lisa Leonard Designs will donate a portion of the proceeds back to Jungle Kids. For each piece sold we’re buying lunch for a child in need. That is awesome."

You know what I did next?  I e-mailed the famous Lisa Leonard herself and asked if she would consider doing a giveaway on my blog.  Honestly, I didn't expect a response.  Little old me and my little old blog.....BUT, just a few hours after my initial e-mail, Lisa Leonard e-mailed me back, she checked out my little old blog and told me she would love to do a giveaway!  I was beside myself with excitement.  Lisa Leonard restored my faith in "famous people" with her humbleness and ease to talk to.  (Now I reeeeally want to sit down with her in real life for some coffee).

I wanted to host this giveaway because I love what the hope{full} line is about.  Not only are the pieces beautiful but they provide.  They provide jobs and food.  Shopping is fun....but it's more fun to shop for things that give back!  Right?

So lets get down to it.  Lisa has graciously offered to give away a scarf, a necklace and a pair of earrings.  I'm wearing the scarf today and it is perfect for the spring transition from winter to summer.  It's soft and not thick, but warm at the same time.

Ash Grey Scarf
And how gorgeous is this necklace.  It's chunky--but not too chunky, vibrant and fun!  The size adjusts so you can wear it long or short.
Ocean View Necklace

...and the ruby red earrings.  Who couldn't use a splash of color hanging from your ears?!
Ruby Red Earrings
Want to know how to enter?  Go over to the hope{full} page, browse the eye candy, come back here and tell me what you love!  You know there are bracelets, too!  So go over....check it out.  If you can't wait for the drawing, buy something!  Buy a kid lunch for a day :)  You know...mother's day is right around the corner!

I will use a random number generator to pick the winner on Friday, March 15th.  One winner will receive all three pieces pictured above.  Good luck!
xoxo
