My girls...

Aren't they cute?

 

I pass this exit ramp on I-40 that is full of these red poppies...I wanted to stop there last year with Emma but had a newborn baby Molly.  This year I was determined.  I got home from work the other day, put them in their matching ladybug dresses and headed over to the exit ramp.  It was just after rush hour and the sun was setting.  Perfect time of day for some cute photos in poppies.  I took 200+ photos and walked away with some beautiful captures!  

I am having this one made into an 18x24 canvas!  Can. Not. Wait. to get it :)

*I swear I don't dress them alike every day!  hahaha....I think these are the only three matching outfits they have...and they are all in this post. 

Oh...and Molly's crawling!  At 12 months old...she is finally crawling!

A little Emma update:  She has just a couple weeks left of preschool until summer break.  She is doing awesome at school!  She has made some great friends and most days doesn't even want to leave!  Now isn't that a 180 from Emma when she first started school?!  I'm so proud of her.  She will be in the 4's class next year...and then on to kindergarten.  I'm not ready for that.  When we're at home she is either singing, dancing, watching Curious George or snuggling her buddy.  She loves to imaginary play with her dolls and I often hear her making them talk to each other.  She loves to walk to one of the two nearby parks.  That is done at least once a day.  She has a love/hate relationship with Molly...I guess I should expect that.  It makes me laugh sometimes.  Molly know just what to do to get on her sisters nerves.  Emma is still such a tender-hearted, sweet little girl.  She's opinionated and strong-willed....but Tim and I trying to guide her and shepherd her in the right direction.  She keeps us on our toes, that's for sure.
